Our Thika center is based at the Joytown Secondary School for Special Needs, providing access to digital university courses for students with physical disabilities — a step toward inclusive education.

Also in April 2025, we opened a new hybrid learning center at the Joytown Secondary School for Special Needs in Thika, Kenya — a school dedicated to the education of students with physical disabilities. This center is especially close to our hearts, as it represents a major step toward educational inclusion for students with disabilities, a group often underserved by digital innovation and higher education initiatives.

The new center at Joytown provides free access to university-level courses and career-oriented content tailored to the needs of the students. It is designed to ensure that every student, regardless of physical challenges, has the opportunity to pursue knowledge, develop skills, and imagine a future of possibility.
This project was fully funded by our charity jazz concert in Geneva, and we are humbled by the international solidarity that made this possible. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lion Billy, Leo Kadzo and Leo Caleb whose local coordination and commitment to inclusive education were instrumental. Our special gratitude also goes to Peter Mustermann, the school’s computer teacher, whose enthusiasm and technical guidance have ensured a smooth rollout of our hybrid model at Joytown.

With this center, we not only provide digital access to knowledge, but also help amplify the voices and aspirations of students with disabilities — making higher education truly accessible for all.
